A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

The little details.

Will it work on my Mac?

The current version supports Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later. You don’t need a physical screen notch: SideNotch can sit on any screen edge.

Do I need to connect my AI accounts?

SideNotch reads existing local sign-ins for supported tools. Some integrations need an explicit access approval or their own sign-in. You choose which providers to enable in Settings.

Does it work with local models?

Yes. Ollama and LM Studio can show loaded models and context information. Generation-speed monitoring needs the relevant local metrics or optional relay setup.

How does the Mole integration work?

Install Mole separately on your Mac, then enable its commands in SideNotch. Cleanup, app removal, disk analysis, and other maintenance tools open in a built-in terminal, with Mole’s own prompts and confirmations.

Where does my data go?

Daily tasks stay on your Mac. Clipboard history is optional and stored locally with encryption. AI usage is read from local tools or the relevant provider’s service. No SideNotch account is required for these integrations.

How does the monthly plan work?

You pay $2 each month, plus any tax shown at checkout. Cancel in the customer portal to stop the next renewal; access remains through your paid period. SideNotch checks licenses daily when online, with up to 30 days of offline grace. Your saved data stays on your Mac when access ends.

Can I buy or download it today?

Yes. Choose $2/month or $15 one time. Both cover two Macs. The one-time purchase includes all SideNotch 1.x updates; monthly access lasts while subscribed. Download the signed and notarized Mac installer, then enter your license key in Settings → License. Future updates arrive in the app.
